I am a principal investigator at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. This blog discusses what my lab members and I thinking about at the moment. Some of my posts are about science we do in my lab: we study perceptual decision-making using a combination of behavior, physiology and theoretical modeling (you can learn more about that on my lab web page). But most posts these days are what we call, “ORACLE.” It stands for, “Our Read of the Archive, Churchland Lab’s Experience.” We do post-publication review, largely of papers that are on the bioRxiv. We put preprints of all our papers there and read our colleagues papers there, too.
